Bon voyage is the new title for next Jean-Paul Rappeneau movie, formerly entitled Les routes du large. Carole Bouquet won't play in the movie, contrary to what we said, but Peter Coyote and Vincent Lindon, who played with Sophie in L'étudiante in 1988, joigned the prestigious cast of the adventure. The script is reported to be "irresistible, ludicious, charmful". Shooting will begin in may 2002, and will take place in Paris, Bordeaux and Prague. The movie won't be released until 2003...

Sophie is in french Gala magazine issue of this week. Nothing new, but a summary of Sophie's carreer as she is up to direct her first movie.

Some rumor said Sophie could star in war epic Night Witches, that Star Trek Star Alexander Siddig will begin shooting next year. Set during WWII along the Eastern Front between Germany and Russia, the movie will tell the story of the "Night Witches," squadrons of female pilots who became one of the most feared and lethal of Russia's defenses against the Nazi's. Flying older Po-2 biplanes normally used as trainers, they flew nuisance missions at night, but managed to wreak havok on the Germans. But Sophie won't play in the movie. Both her agent and the director denied. Damage, this could have been a good role...
